Abstract

Kalimantan is a region rich in cultural heritage and traditions, lived out by multi-ethnic communities such as the Dayak, Banjar, Kutai, and Malay. Local wisdom and customs play a crucial role in regulating social and spiritual life, as well as fostering a harmonious relationship between humans and nature. Values such as mutual cooperation, respect for nature, customary law, and religious and social rituals form the foundation of the cultural identity of the people of Kalimantan. However, modernization, globalization, and the exploitation of natural resources present serious challenges to the preservation of these traditions. Therefore, preservation efforts through education, cultural documentation, and strengthening the role of indigenous communities are crucial to maintaining the sustainability of Kalimantan's cultural heritage as part of Indonesia's national cultural heritage.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the benefits of implementing entrepreneurial values and practices for students in the modern era. The development of an orientation toward economic independence has significantly changed the mindset and work readiness of students in Indonesia. Before the development of the campus entrepreneurial ecosystem, most students still used conventional methods to find work, relying solely on the formal sector after graduation. However, the dynamic changes in the labor market require students to adapt by developing a spirit of business independence. This study aims to analyze the benefits of entrepreneurship for students and examine its role in improving soft skills, financial independence, and creating new jobs. This study uses a literature study method through data collection from 15 scientific journals and 5 e-books relevant to the topic of student entrepreneurship. The results of the discussion are: 1) entrepreneurial activities are proven to be effective in shaping students' leadership character, creativity, and problem-solving abilities; 2) business practices since college can help students reduce financial dependence, expand professional networks, and make a real contribution to reducing educated unemployment. The novelty of this article is the focus of the analysis on the integration of digital skills that strengthen students' business resilience, so that entrepreneurship becomes an important strategy that must be implemented by higher education institutions so that students are able to survive and thrive amidst modern economic competition
