Abstract

Background Volleyball learning videos is expected to be one of the variations that will facilitate lessons from teacher to student if teachers are bored with the material and students find it difficult to understand. The purpose of this study is to produce and test an android application-based volleyball bottom passing learning model for high school students. Methods uses ADDIE type research and development. There are five steps used in this study, namely needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research subjects in the volleyball passing learning model are students of Mahmudiyyah Cicurug Integrated Islamic High School class XI which amounted to 20 subjects in small group trials, large group trials of 55 students and 60 subjects effectiveness tests conducted on students of Mahmudiyyah Cicurug Integrated Islamic High School in Sukabumi Regency. The data analysis techniques used in this study to test the effectiveness of the model are normality tests, homogeneity tests and independent sample-tests. Results a product in the form of a volleyball bottom passing learning model based on an android application in high school that has been validated and revised by 50 models by experts. Conclusions the android application-based learning model is feasible and effective for high school students in grade XI in improving student learning outcomes in volleyball bottom passing material.
