The purpose of this study is to describe the level of discipline among students of SMP Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Cece, to identify the patterns of discipline development provided to the students, and to examine the role of dormitory supervisors in fostering student discipline at SMP Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Cece. This research employs a qualitative research method, with the research subjects consisting of junior high school students and dormitory supervisors at Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Cece. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study was conducted in May 2024.The results of the study indicate that the discipline of students at SMP Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Cece has improved compared to when the students first entered the Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Cece Islamic boarding school. This improvement in discipline cannot be separated from the significant role of the dormitory supervisors, who are responsible for guiding and fostering student discipline. Therefore, the role of dormitory supervisors in the educational process is crucial, particularly in developing disciplined character among junior high school students. One of the main responsibilities of dormitory supervisors is to instill discipline in various aspects, including discipline in worship, compliance with pesantren regulations, responsibility in completing assigned tasks, and discipline in learning activities. To ensure that the discipline development process is effective, a structured guidance pattern is required. In this regard, the discipline development pattern proposed by Abdullah Nasih Ulwan—consisting of five approaches: guidance through role modeling, habituation, advice, storytelling, and punishment—has been effectively implemented at the Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Cece Islamic boarding school
