Abstract

Globalization has become a very significant worldwide phenomenon in the 21st century. It has affected almost all aspects of our lives, including religious identity. This article examines the impact of globalization on the religious identity of Muslim youth. Using a sociology of religion approach, we analyze how Muslim youth interact with global culture, technology, and social media, and how this affects the way they understand and experience their religion. The article also identifies challenges as well as opportunities that arise in this process and proposes or designs solutions to maintain a strong religious identity in the context of globalization.
