Abstract

Islamic banks are financial institutions that operate in accordance with Islamic sharia principles. This article discusses the history of Islamic banks, their development, and the challenges they face. The development of Islamic banks continues to increase in line with increasing consumer demand for financial products and services that comply with Islamic Sharia principles. Many countries, including Indonesia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, have developed systems and infrastructure that support the growth of this industry. Facing these challenges, Sharia Bank continues to strive to improve service quality and maintain the integrity of Islamic Sharia principles in every aspect of its operations. With continued growth and strong support from the global Islamic community, Sharia Bank is expected to continue to grow and play a bigger role in the global economy.
