Abstract

Language and literature play a significant role in religious life. As the primary means of communication and expression, language is used to convey religious teachings, both orally and in writing. Sacred scriptures, religious sermons, and worship rituals often employ a distinctive language imbued with spiritual values. In religious life, language and literature serve complementary functions. Language is used to explain religious teachings literally, while literature plays a role in expressing spiritual values more profoundly and symbolically. Thus, language and literature have an important role in enriching religious life, both in the context of conveying teachings and expressing spiritual values through creative works. They are mutually supportive elements in fostering spiritual awareness and strengthening religious beliefs within society
