Abstract

Curriculum is a very strategic component in efforts to achieve learning objectives. The problem of learning activity of the Bina Prestasi program at MTsN 2 Kota Kediri is the absence of a special curriculum. This causes misalignment between the objectives, material, methods and evaluation techniques. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Multiple Intelligences-based Arabic Language Learning curriculum and test its feasibility for the Bina Prestasi program at MTsN 2 Kota Kediri. This research method is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE model. Researchers applied the curriculum to 32 students from Firqoh Tsaminah after being checked by 3 validators. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, learning outcomes tests, and student response questionnaires. The result of this research is the validation of Arabic learning curriculum products show that the curriculum is very feasible to use with an average value of 85.93% curriculum experts and an average value of 89.47% practitioners. While the results of student responses obtained an average score of 86.06% with the criteria "very feasible". Then the analysis of learning outcomes through the N-Gain Score obtained a result of 65.7% and categorized as moderately effective. While the t test results show a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 which means it is smaller than 0.05, so there is a significant difference between the average student learning outcomes before and after receiving treatment by applying the Arabic language learning curriculum based on Multiple Intelligences. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Arabic language learning curriculum based on Mutiple Intelligences is “very feasible” for use in learning Bina Prestasi program and effectively improves learning outcomes of Bina Prestasi students at MTsN 2 Kota Kediri.
