Abstract

This research aims to find out how education policy in schools using the perspective of learner development. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach of the type of literature study or library research, the data presented in the results of the discussion are obtained through literature studies that refer to various scientific sources such as books, scientific articles, and studies related to the title of the discussion. The results showed that each learner has differences in development in learning activities. This difference will distinguish one individual from another so that it can be used as a characteristic that can distinguish the individual. Individual differences between learners include variations in various aspects, ranging from academic abilities to learning styles and personality characteristics.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the philosophical basis of existentialism in education. The main purpose of learning according to existentialism philosophers is to guide individuals into a self-realization and develop a successful commitment to something important and meaningful for their existence. The research method used in this research is library research. The library study method is a data collection technique that uses a review of books, literature, notes and reports related to the problem being solved. The results showed that, the learning method used refers to the freedom to determine learning activities based on needs, this freedom includes complicated bureaucracy so that it can change to be flexible depending on existing needs
