<![CDATA[This research aims to find out the philosophical basis of existentialism in education. The main purpose of learning according to existentialism philosophers is to guide individuals into a self-realization and develop a successful commitment to something important and meaningful for their existence. The research method used in this research is library research. The library study method is a data collection technique that uses a review of books, literature, notes and reports related to the problem being solved. The results showed that, the learning method used refers to the freedom to determine learning activities based on needs, this freedom includes complicated bureaucracy so that it can change to be flexible depending on existing needs]]>
