Abstract

Football is a sport with a massive fan base worldwide, including in Indonesia, with Manchester United being one of the most popular clubs. However, many new fans tend to judge the club solely based on its current performance without understanding its long history of glory. This study aims to design and develop a mobile-based 3D Visual story educational game that presents the history of Manchester United interactively. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) with six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The game was developed using Unity 3D with C# programming language and consists of three main chapters: the 1999 Treble Winner era, the Sir Alex Ferguson era, and the RĂºben Amorim era. Each chapter features a visual story, an open world Trophy room area, NPC interactions, a quiz session, and a unique mini game. Blackbox Testing results show that all 15 test scenarios were Valid. Feasibility assessment using a Likert scale questionnaire administered to 51 respondents yielded a feasibility score of 85.8%, placing it in the Very Feasible category.

Abstract

A web-based digital platform was developed for the Sidoarjo Education Office to streamline the management and registration of educational activities. The system provides two levels of access: administrator (event management, participant data, and attendance) and general users (information access and registration). The main features include event management, registration system, attendance recording, and informative dashboard. The development uses the Waterfall method with five stages: needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is built using PHP, HTML, and MySQL as the database. The implementation of the system succeeded in increasing the effectiveness of event management, facilitating registration, and supporting digital documentation through the attendance monitoring feature.
