Abstract

Reporting on National Quality Indicators (INM) is a critical component of hospital quality management, as it serves as the basis for evaluating service performance, improving quality, and ensuring patient safety. However, the implementation of INM reporting at Dr. Mohammad Zyn Regional General Hospital in Sampang Regency still faces challenges, including reporting delays, incomplete data, and the use of an inefficient, paper-based manual system. To address these issues, the PORTAL_INM (Digital Reporting of National Quality Indicators) innovation was developed using Google Forms. This integrated system supports the hospital’s paperless policy. The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of implementing PORTAL_INM on improving compliance with reporting deadlines and the completeness of INM data across the hospital’s service units. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of implementing PORTAL_INM on improving compliance with reporting deadlines and the completeness of INM data in hospital service units. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach without a control group. The study population and sample consisted of all INM PICs (Persons in Charge) in 18 hospital service units, selected using total sampling. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and comparatively using the Crosstab test and Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed a significant difference (p=0.0001) and a significant difference (p=0.002). This innovation supports digital transformation, strengthens a culture of quality, and enhances the effectiveness of sustainable hospital quality data management.
