Abstract

The increasing number of donation box thefts in mosques and prayer rooms has driven the development of an innovative security system based on RFID, GSM, and GPS technologies. This system aims to enhance the security of donation boxes with two main features: automatic locking/unlocking using RFID and real-time position tracking using GSM and GPS. The automatic locking/unlocking system integrates an RFID reader with a servo motor, allowing access to the donation box only with registered RFID tags. This system has been tested and demonstrates an average response time of 2 seconds in activating the servo motor after tag detection. The position tracking system is designed to detect any movement of the donation box from its original location. If the box is moved within the building, the GSM module will automatically make a call to a registered mosque administrator's mobile number. If taken outside, the GPS module will detect its current location and send it via SMS to the administrator. This system provides a comprehensive security solution to prevent donation box theft, both by restricting access and providing real-time location information in case of unauthorized movement. This system is expected to provide a sense of security and minimize losses due to donation box theft in places of worship.
