Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the income level of the goat farmers in Tondo District of East Palu, particularly the former employees of PT. Iradat Puri. The location and respondents weredeterminedby purposive sampling. The analysis of income was applied in this study.The result showed that the average income of farmers from the business in a year was about Rp 7,964,375.- This research showed that the income of goat farmersstill remained low. The increasing of the goat farmer income from this business was very depended on the capital and the improvement of the farmer knowledge on technical maintenance as well as the business management. Abstract

Central Sulawesi Province has an area of ​​61,841.29 km^2 consisting of 13 Regencies/Cities with a population of 2,921,715 people or 719,031 households and a population of 77,004 free-range chickens spread across several areas of Palu City (Central Statistics Agency, 2016). Palu City as an autonomous region has various resources that can be developed to achieve the main goal of economic development, so that it can increase the number and types of employment opportunities for regional communities so that community welfare is more equitable. In an effort to achieve this goal, the government must be able to develop potential economic sectors, one of which is free-range chicken farming so that it develops as a leading sector. With the hope that this sector will be able to contribute to the community's economy, especially medium-sized farms with MSME capital. Extensive-traditional or free range chicken rearing system. Even though there are breeders who carry out intensive cultivation, they are still very limited in terms of capital and marketing. This is what makes the total production of the free-range chicken population in the city of Palu lower when compared to other cities, so it is necessary to conduct a study on income analysis of the medium-scale free-range chicken business for the UMKM program in the City of Palu. The aim of this research is to find out how much income middle-scale chicken traders earn from the MSME program at RPA LA Tansa, South Palu District, North Bureaubuli Village and to find out the feasibility of selling free-range chickens at RPA Latansa. This research will be carried out at RPA Latansa from February to April 2024 . This research method uses a survey method. The research design uses a type of quantitative descriptive research, namely a research procedure that uses descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words (interviews) with respondents, then the research data obtained is simplified in table form by displaying the number and average, then analyzed again sequentially. descriptive. The data analysis used is Revenue Analysis, Cost Analysis, Income Analysis and R/C Ration business feasibility analysis. Based on an analysis of income calculations, the Latan'sa chicken slaughterhouse (RPA) business income for one month is IDR. 38,722,708 which shows that the Latan'sa chicken slaughterhouse (RPA) business is making a profit

Abstract

Ternak sapi potong menjadi salah satu komponen penting dalam pengembangan sektor peternakan untuk menunjang usaha tani masyarakat perdesaan. Sapi (Bos Taurus) merupakan salah satu jenis ternak ruminansia yang sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia lebih tepatnya di predesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon kelompok peternak terhadap adanya bantuan sapi potong di Desa Malonas Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Malonas Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama dua bulan yang terhitung mulai dari tanggal 1 Desember 2023 - 31 Januari 2024. Penentuan lokasi penelitian ini ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive) yaitu di desa Malonas yang menjadi desa penerima bantuan ternak terbayak dalam program bantuan ternak sapi potong “Sulawesi Tengah Sejuta Sapi” mewakili desa yang lainnya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei, yaitu teknik pengumpulan informasi yang dilakukan dengan cara menyusun daftar pertanyaan yang diajukan kepada responden yang ada di lokasi penelitian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi objek alamiah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah populasi peternak yang berada di desa Malonas yaitu berjumblah 167 peternak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua kelompok, sekertaris, bendahara,dan 2 anggota kelompok yang ada di Desa Malonas Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala. Teknik mengambilan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan menggunakan kusioner untuk menentukan berapa responden kelompok peternak terhadap adanya bantuan sapi potong di Desa Malonas Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala. Namun hasil dari penelitian tersebut maka responden kelompok peternek yang ada di desa Malonas Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala dengan persentase 94% yang ada pada kategori “sangat baik”

Abstract

This research aims to determine the public's perception of the existence of swallow houses in Watutau Village, Lore Peore District, Poso Regency, and the factors that influence people's perceptions of swallow houses. In this research, the population was taken from a community located at a radius of 250 meters, namely 31 heads of families, the number of samples taken was 31 respondents. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research method used by the survey method is one of the information collection techniques carried out by compiling a list of questions asked to respondents at the research location. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics using grouping, simplification and presentation of data such as frequency distribution tables and measurements using the likert and chi- square scales. Based on the results of the study, the perception of the community in Watutau Village, Lore Peore District, Poso Regency, is in the category of Disturbed / Disagreed with the exis tence of swallow houses and the most influential factors in the perception of the community in Watutau Village, Lore Peore District, Poso Regency are the distance of houses on sound and socio-cultural indicators on community perceptions.

Abstract

Raising pigs is one of the businesses managed by a portion of the population in Indonesia. This is because it can provide great benefits if managed properly, including the manure which can be used as fertilizer and a promising source of feed ingredients. This study aims to determine Community Perceptions of the Existence of Pig Farms in Tombi Village, Ampibabo District, Parigi Moutong Regency. This research took place in Hamlet I and Hamlet II, Tombi Village, Ampibabo District, Parigi Moutong Regency. It was carried out from September to November 2022. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative. The method used is survey method (observation and interview). The population in this study were all the people in hamlet I and hamlet II of Tombi Village, totaling 229 people. Determination of the number of samples using descriptive statistics based on the Slovin formula as many as 70 people and the method of taking respondents using accidental sampling. Data analysis used in this study is descriptive statistics using a Likert scale. The results of this study revealed that the public's perception of the existence of a pig farm in Tombi Village, Ampibabo District, Parigi Moutong Regency, as a whole was disturbed. snoring, continuous noise and loud noises with a weight of 43.3%, waste treatment with indicators piled up in the disposal pond and lack of cleanliness with a weight of 77.25% and socio-culture with indicators of community approval and adaptation to smells and sounds with an index value of 60.63% The data shows that respondents feel disturbed by the existence of pig farms close to residential areas, even though it is known that setting up pig farms must be far from residential areas, so as not to disturb the comfort of the people who live in Hamlets I and II of Tombi Village.
