Abstract Since the introduction of Banach’s Fixed Point Theorem for contractive mappings, fixed point theory has been extended to broader classes of mappings, including nonexpansive mappings and their generalizations. In order to approximate fixed points, various iterative schemes have been introduced, including those of Mann, Ishikawa, Abbas, Thakur, JK, and Sabri, in both linear and geodesic spaces. Besides the convergence itself, the rate of convergence has become an important criterion for assessing the efficiency of an iterative scheme. This study discusses the application of the Sabri iterative scheme in the geodesic metric space for approximating fixed points of mappings satisfying condition . We obtain sufficient conditions that guarantee -convergence and strong convergence of the generated iterative sequence. Furthermore, numerical simulations are conducted to compare the convergence rate of the Sabri iterative scheme with several existing iterative schemes in terms of the number of iterations and the resulting errors. Based on the numerical examples and parameter settings considered in this study, the Sabri iterative scheme demonstrated faster convergence than the JK, Thakur, and Abbas iterative schemes. Keywords: fixed point approximation; condition ; geodesic space; iterative scheme.
