Abstract

The issue of employee performance within an organization in completing tasks or activities is of critical importance. Performance is generally influenced by several factors, such as leadership style, organizational culture, and employee motivation. Both leadership style and organizational culture undoubtedly influence the motivation that develops within employees. In turn, this motivation influences the performance demonstrated by employees in carrying out their duties. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on member performance, with work motivation serving as the intervening variable. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, employing a research approach that utilizes numerical data and statistical analysis to test hypotheses and answer the research questions. In this study, a quantitative method was used to test the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on member performance, with work motivation serving as an intervening variable. Based on the results and discussion, it was found that leadership style has a significant effect on member performance (sig 0.000 < 0.05), with a total effect of 0.97215. Organizational culture does not have a significant effect on member performance (sig 0.786 > 0.05). Work motivation does not play a significant role as an intervening variable in the relationship between leadership style and member performance, nor between organizational culture and member performance.
