This study was conducted from January 2020 to January 2022 using a quantitative approach, a purposive sampling method, and valuation calculation techniques based on market prices through usability value. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. This research revealed that there were three types of large pelagic fishes caught in Garut Regency such as mackerel tuna (Euthynnus affinis), skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis), and narrow-barred Spanish mackerel (Scomberomorus commerson). The estimated of large pelagic fish resource valuation based on market price in Garut Regency was IDR 54,697,741 in 2019 and IDR 264,197,034 in 2020.
