As academics, the Warmadewa University Community Service Team provided assistance in the socialization and basic training of paralegals in Tenganan Dauh Tukad Village, as mandated by Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 3 of 2021 concerning Paralegals in the Provision of Legal Aid. The KPIs achieved in this Community Service Program were KPI 1: Students Gain Experience Off-Campus. KPI 2 was the lecturer's off-campus activities. This indicator aims to ensure that lecturers are not only active on campus, but also off campus. Tenganan Dauh Tukad Village, located in Karangasem Regency, Bali, is a traditional village rich in tradition and culture. This village is known for its various traditional ceremonies, handicrafts, and sustainable agricultural systems that reflect the local wisdom of the Balinese people. In every corner of the village, visitors can witness the beauty of traditional architecture and the implementation of rituals that are an integral part of the daily lives of its residents. However, despite their strong love for tradition, the people of Tenganan Dauh Tukad often lack an understanding of the importance of legal aspects. This impacts their ability to protect their rights and resolve conflicts legally. This lack of understanding has the potential to cause problems in various aspects, including land, marriage, and inheritance. For example, without adequate legal knowledge, land disputes can escalate into more serious conflicts, which in turn can damage social relations among villagers. Tenganan Dauh Tukad Village has a unique culture and rich traditions. However, in practice, village officials often face challenges in managing legal issues related to land ownership, permits, and social conflicts within the community. Without an adequate understanding of the legal aspects, they struggle to resolve existing issues, which can lead to conflict within the community. Basic paralegal training is designed to provide village officials with basic legal knowledge so they can become effective mediators in resolving disputes and educating the community about their legal rights and obligations. The outputs of the community service team include: an international journal entitled "Community Journal Service of Law," a 40-second video, print media and online YouTube videos, and a final report on the 2026 Community Service Program.
