Low learning outcomes in natural and social sciences (IPAS) in primary schools frequently stem from conventional learning processes that are abstract and teacher-centered. Passive learning impedes students from constructing deep conceptual understanding, particularly regarding the human organ system. This study aims to analyze the effect of the 5E inquiry learning cycle model assisted by visual aids on the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 060830 Medan. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design was employed. The research sample comprised 40 students divided into an experimental class (5E inquiry learning cycle assisted by visual aids) and a control class (conventional instruction). Data collection instruments included a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 valid items administered via pre-test and post-test, analyzed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent samples t-tests. The results indicated that the experimental class achieved a post-test average of 86.00, significantly exceeding the control class average of 76.75. Hypothesis testing demonstrated that the calculated t-value exceeded the critical t-table value (2.836 > 2.024) with a significance value of 0.007 < 0.05, thereby confirming the acceptance of Ha. This study concludes that the application of the 5E inquiry learning cycle model assisted by visual aids exerts a positive and significant effect on improving elementary students' IPAS learning outcomes. The practical implication offers an innovative instructional pathway for elementary educators to concretize complex scientific concepts through scaffolded inquiry.
