Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of audio murottal media in improving students' Al-Qur'an memorization skills. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a case study design at MA Al-Falah Campaka. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with key informants, participative observation in tahfidz activities, and documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicated that the structured use of audio media for 15-20 minutes before memorizing significantly enhanced students' tajwid accuracy and fluency (fashahah). The audio media served as a standard pronunciation model that self-corrected pronunciation errors. Furthermore, consistent auditory stimulation was proven to accelerate the acquisition of new memorization and strengthen long-term memory retention during murojaah activities. The primary supporting factors included religious madrasah policies and students' personal digital devices, while the main obstacles involved limited audio laboratory facilities, technical issues, and varying levels of student discipline. This study concludes that audio media is an effective instructional tool to complement conventional halaqah methods.
