Abstract

Education plays a crucial role as a fundamental aspect of developing high-quality human resources, particularly within Islamic education. The teachings of the Quran and Hadith are vital in this regard, as they serve as guiding principles for Muslims. Teachers facilitate the educational process to ensure students understand and master cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of learning, thereby achieving desired goals and outcomes. The choice of teaching method is significant in the instructional process; selecting an appropriate method—such as the Teams Games Tournament—can make learning more comfortable, educational, and engaging. This method fosters a sense of active student involvement in the learning process. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament model and the Quran-Hadith learning process in enhancing the active participation of Grade XII students at MA Rabithatul Ulum. The study employed a qualitative research method. The subjects were Grade 12 students and the Quran-Hadith teacher at MA Rabithatul Ulum. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the Teams Games Tournament is a highly effective teaching method at MA Rabithatul Ulum. During the learning process, students demonstrated increased engagement and understanding by working in groups to achieve the desired learning outcomes.
