Abstract

At SMP Negeri 4 Klari Karawang, this research intends to look at how the principal's academic supervision affects teachers' productivity. The premise of this study is that the principle plays a pivotal role in enhancing teacher effectiveness through consistent and methodical supervision. Using a case study methodology, this research takes a qualitative approach. Methods for gathering information include documenting findings, conducting in-depth interviews, and careful observation. Findings show that principal-led academic supervision improves teachers' performance across the board, but notably in the areas of lesson preparation, delivery, and assessment. When it comes to helping teachers grow professionally, the principle takes on the roles of mentor, motivator, and supervisor. Teachers are more likely to grow professionally and do a good job when they are subject to regular and organized academic monitoring. Finally, academic monitoring is vital for boosting teacher effectiveness and assisting in the attainment of school-wide educational objectives.
