Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity aimed to implement pop-up books in the learning process and assess students’ perceptions of the pop-up books' visual appeal and content suitability. The activity involved 54 teachers during the dissemination and training phases and 32 seventh-grade students during the implementation phase. The activity was conducted in three stages: pre-activity, implementation, and evaluation. The evaluation results revealed that 82% of the students strongly agreed that the pop-up books were visually appealing, while 87% strongly agreed that the content was appropriate. These results indicate a positive reception of the instructional media among the students. The activity demonstrates that pop-up books can serve as effective learning media for introducing earthquake mitigation concepts to students.
