Abstract

A company's success is largely determined by the quality of its human resources. Therefore, companies need to have effective employees to achieve optimal performance by considering factors that can support employee performance improvement, such as work-life balance and work motivation. This research was conducted at PT Alea Indotex Digital Jakarta, a company engaged in the textile sector, especially Muslim fashion in Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine and examine the effect of work-life balance on employee performance, the effect of work motivation on employee performance, and the simultaneous effect of work-life balance and work motivation on employee performance. This study used a quantitative method with a saturated sampling technique, where the entire population sampled was 33 employees. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and processed using SPSS version 25. The results showed that work-life balance did not have a significant partial effect on employee performance. Work motivation partially had a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, work-life balance and work motivation had a significant effect on employee performance.
