Student creative thinking skills constitute a key competency in the Social Studies learning process under the 2025 National Curriculum. This is reflected in the "Creative" dimension among the eight dimensions of the Graduate Profile, placing it on par with critical reasoning, collaboration, independence, citizenship, and communication skills. However, current instructional methods remain conventional and lack student contribution, necessitating the implementation of an innovative learning model. This study aims to examine the effect of the LOK-R learning model (Literacy, Orientation, Collaboration, and Reflection) assisted by the Canva application on the creative thinking skills of 7th-grade Social Studies students at SMPS Asa Cendekia, Sedati, Sidoarjo. The study employs a quantitative approach using a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving two pre-existing classes: Class VII A (experimental group, 31 students) and Class VII B (control group, 28 students) for comparative purposes. The sample was selected using purposive samplinga non-probability sampling method aligned with the research objectives. The independent variable in this study is the LOK-R learning model assisted by the Canva application, while the dependent variable is the students' creative thinking skills. Data analysis techniques included item analysis (for the essay instrument) and tests for validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing (t-test) using SPSS software. The results indicate a significant influence of the LOK-R learning modelsupported by the Canva application on the creative thinking skills of 7th-grade students. Treatment effectiveness was analyzed using the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) method, comparing initial competence (pre-test) with final achievement (post-test) the experimental group achieved an N-Gain index of 52,91% (classified as 'Medium'), while the control group scored 38,76% (classified as 'Low'). Subsequent Independent Sample T-Test analysis yielded a calculated t-value of 3.130 (df = 57) and a significance value (p-value, 2-tailed) of 0.000 (< 0.05). It is concluded that the implementation of the LOK-R learning model is effective in enhancing students' creative thinking skills in Social Studies (IPS).
