This classroom action research aimed to improve third-grade students' mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of data presentation through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the contextual “Warung Data” (Data Store) learning media. The study was motivated by low learning outcomes at SDN Klampis Ngasem III/512 Surabaya, where only 25% of 24 third-grade students reached the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM) of 80, with a class average of 59.17. This research followed the Kemmis and McTaggart action research design, consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting, and was conducted in two cycles. In Cycle I, students used an early version of the Warung Data media (a whiteboard divided into color columns) to collect and present favorite-color data; classical mastery reached only 25.00% with a class average of 59.17. Based on reflection, the media was refined in Cycle II into a shop-themed survey board (“Warung Survei Makanan Kesukaan”) used to collect and present favorite-food data in tables and bar charts. In Cycle II, classical mastery increased to 86.96%, exceeding the success indicator of ≥85%, with a class average of 91.52. The findings indicate that the PBL model assisted by the Warung Data media effectively improves third-grade students' mathematics learning outcomes on data presentation material and can be considered a contextual and meaningful learning innovation for elementary mathematics instruction.
