This study is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of students on whole numbers up to 1,000 in grade III of SD N Mampir, caused by teacher-centered learning models. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Discovery Learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design method in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population comprises all grade III and IV students of SD N Mampir. The sampling technique employed saturated sampling, resulting in 40 grade III students as the experimental group and 40 grade IV students as the control group. The data collection instrument consisted of 20 multiple-choice test items. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests (Shapiro-Wilk and Levene's Test), and hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-Test with IBM SPSS Statistics 21. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental group was 21.25, higher than the control group at 18.58. The hypothesis test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. This proves a significant effect of the Discovery Learning model on mathematics learning outcomes. Teachers are recommended to implement this model routinely to improve students' activeness and mathematical concept understanding.
