Abstract

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of students in the IPAS subject, as indicated by their suboptimal understanding of economic activities. The learning process that did not actively involve students and the suboptimal use of learning media resulted in students having difficulty understanding the material. This condition encouraged the researcher to conduct a study aimed at improving IPAS learning outcomes through the implementation of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall Learning Activity (WOLA) media for fifth-grade students at Sidorejo Kidul 02 State Elementary School. The subjects of this study were 28 fifth-grade students at Sidorejo Kidul 02 State Elementary School. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted through four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through interviews, observations, written tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed an improvement in students’ learning outcomes. The average learning outcome score in Cycle I was 75, with 17 students achieving learning mastery, accounting for 61%. In Cycle II, the average score increased to 83, with 24 students achieving learning mastery, accounting for 86%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Wordwall Learning Activity (WOLA) media improved the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.
