Abstract

The primary objective of this scientific inquiry was to comprehensively examine how workload, organizational culture, and work-life balance influence individual employee performance within the specific context of the Semarang City Personnel, Education, and Training Agency (BKPP). Adopting a rigorous quantitative methodology, the study conducted a detailed survey involving a total of 62 employees. A saturated sampling approach was intentionally employed to ensure that the entire population was represented in the final data set. Data analysis was meticulously performed using multiple linear regression techniques to evaluate the statistical connections between the three independent factors and professional performance outcomes. The final findings reveal that workload, organizational culture, and work-life balance significantly and positively impact employee performance on both individual and collective levels. With a calculated R-squared value of 0.367, these specific variables account for approximately 36.7% of the observed performance variance among the staff. Consequently, these results imply that management should prioritize ensuring a balanced task distribution, fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace culture, and providing the necessary flexibility for personal-professional balance to enhance overall organizational productivity.
