Abstract

As a healthcare service provider, Yakrija Slipi Clinic holds a highly critical role in fulfilling public health services. This study is designed to evaluate how job satisfaction and compensation influence employee performance at Yakrija Slipi Clinic. Utilizing a quantitative method, empirical data were gathered via questionnaires distributed to 61 respondents selected through a saturated sampling technique. The collected data were subsequently processed utilizing multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS. The empirical results demonstrate that job satisfaction exerts a positive but statistically insignificant effect on employee performance. Conversely, compensation exhibits a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance. Jointly, the simultaneous test indicates that job satisfaction and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance. The resulting coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.539 reveals that 53.9% of the fluctuations in employee performance are explainable by job satisfaction and compensation, whereas the other 46.1% are determined by external variables beyond this model. Ultimately, this research concludes that compensation is the most dominant variable in driving employee performance at Yakrija Slipi Clinic.
