Abstract

The objectives of research were to find out: 1) the relationship between the attitude of tolerance with patriotism students. 2) The relationship between understanding of national movement history with patriotism students. 3) The relationship between the attitude of tolerance and understanding of national movement history with patriotism students. The population of research was all of the XI grades of SMA Islam 1 Surakarta of academic year 2016/2017, consisting of 68 students. The sample used is of 40 students. The sample was taken using random sampling technique. The technique of collecting data used were questionnaire. The technique of analyzing data used was a multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, multiple correlation analysis (F-test), R2, and relative and effective contribution. The conclusion of research were as: 1) there was a positive relationship between the attitude of tolerance with patriotism students. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) the showing that tstatistic > ttable, that is 3,197 > 1,687 and the significance value of 0,03 < 0,05. 2) There was a positive relationship between understanding of national movement history with patriotism. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) the showing that tstatistic > ttable, that is 2,653 > 1,687 and the significance value of 0,012 < 0,05. 3) There was a positive relationship between the attitude of tolerance and understanding of national movement history with patriotism students. It could be seen from the multiple correlation analysis (F-test) the showing that Fstatistic > Ftable, that is 15,200 > 3,270 and the significance value < 0,05, of 0,000.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The effectiveness difference of the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the students' learning achievement of history. 2) The effectiveness difference of the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the learning achievement students of history who have a high read interest. 3) The effectiveness difference of the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the learning achievement students of history who have a low read interest. 4) The interaction effect between the use of the self-directed learning and interest in read on the learning achievement of history.This research used experimental methods. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta 2017/2018 school year with 2 sample that is class XI IPS 1 consisted of 23 students and XI IPS 2 consisted of 25 students drawn by cluster random sampling technique. Techniques of collecting data using questionnaires and test methods that have been tested with validity and reliability testing. Data was analyzed by two-way analysis of variance with 2x2 factorial design.Based on the result of research it appear that: (1) There is a significant effectiveness difference between use the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module to students' learning achievement history (probability value < significance level = 0,001<0.05), (2) There is a significant effectiveness  difference between use the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the learning achievement of students of history who have a high read interest (probability value < significance level = 0,037<0.05), (3) There is not significant effectiveness  difference between use the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the learning achievement of students of history who have a low read interest (probability value < significance level = 0,182>0.05), and (4) There is no interaction effect between the use of the self-directed learning and interest in read on the learning achievement of history. (probability value < significance level = 0,629>0.05).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve motivation and student learning outcomes in history object of class X IIS 3 SMAN 5 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016 through the application of cooperative learning method type Learning Together model with World Civilization Site media in history subject. This research is classroom action research. The experiement was conducted in twwo cycle, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students of X IIS 2 SMAN 5 Surakarta which is consisting 29 student, history teacher, and the teacher and learning. Techniques of data collection is by interview, observation, questionaires, tests and document analyzing. Test validity of data using the technique of triangulation method and triangulation sourch (data). Data analysis using comparative descriptive techniques and interactive analys. Research procedure is the spiral model (Planning, Acting, Observing and Reflecting). The result showed that; (1) the application of cooperative learning method type learning together model with world civilization site media can improve student motivation in history subject of class X IIS 3 SMAN 5 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. It can be seen from the result of the percentage of achievement indicators in the questionnaire student motivation in history subject. The student motivation in history subject of precycle is 57.30% increase to 75.95% in the first cycle and increase to 84.46.02% in the second cycle. This acquistion has exceeded the target of 80 %; (2) the application of cooperative learning method learning together model with world civilization site media can improve student learning outcomes of class X IIS 3 SMAN 5 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. It can be seen from the mastery of cognitive test score. The completeness of student learning outcomes in precycle amount to 55.17% increase to 74.86% in the first cycle and successfully increase in the second cycle into 89.65%. This acquistion has exceeded the target of 80 %. Based on the research finding and discussion, it can be concluded that Cooperative Learning method with the type of Learning Together by using World Civilization Site Media can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of students of X IIS 3 of SMAN 5 Surakarta.
