Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of tourism managers' digital skills on the effectiveness of technology-based tourism promotion in Banyumulek Village, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency. The background of this research is based on the importance of digital skills in supporting tourism promotion in the technological era, especially for tourist villages with significant cultural and economic potential. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Then, data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, Multiple Linear Regression Tests, partial t-tests, and simultaneous F-tests using SPSS. The results indicate that tourism managers' digital skills and digital marketing communications significantly influence the effectiveness of technology-based tourism promotion. Both partially and simultaneously, these two variables can increase the reach, engagement, and image of digital tourism destinations. Therefore, the more digital skills a tourism manager possesses, the more effective tourism promotion through digital technology will be.
