Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of regional taxes, social assistance expenditure, and economic growth on poverty in Aceh Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data. The data used in this study are time series data for 2010–2024, covering regional tax, social assistance expenditure, economic growth, and poverty data in Aceh Province. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression with EViews software. The results show that the tax variable partially has a negative and significant effect on poverty in Aceh Province. The social assistance variable has a positive and insignificant effect on poverty in Aceh Province. The economic growth variable has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty in Aceh Province. Regional taxes, social assistance, and economic growth simultaneously affect poverty in Aceh Province during specified research period. Results indicate relationships between the independent variables and poverty, both partially and simultaneously, based on analysis conducted.
