Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work life balance and organizational culture on employee loyalty with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Bukittinggi City. A quantitative approach was employed using purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 50 permanent employees from three BSI offices in Bukittinggi. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) and analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.0. Results indicate: (1) work life balance positively and significantly affects employee loyalty; (2) organizational culture positively and significantly affects employee loyalty; (3) work life balance positively but not significantly affects job satisfaction; (4) organizational culture positively and significantly affects job satisfaction; (5) job satisfaction positively but not significantly affects employee loyalty; (6) job satisfaction does not mediate the work life balance–employee loyalty relationship; (7) job satisfaction does not mediate the organizational culture–employee loyalty relationship. These findings suggest that employee loyalty is more directly influenced by work life balance and organizational culture.
