Abstract

This study analyzes digital promotion ethics from an Islamic business perspective at Jas Hujan Exclusive, based on the thought of Syed Nawab Haider Naqvi's thought. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through direct interviews with seven informants, observation, and documentation. The analysis is based on four axioms of Islamic business ethics: unity, equilibrium, free will, and responsibility. The findings show that Jas Hujan Exclusive utilizes Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, and Tokopedia through product photos and videos, live streaming, promotions, and customer testimonials. These practices reflect efforts to uphold honesty, trustworthiness, good service, and responsibility. However, discrepancies remain between promotional information and the products consumers receive, particularly regarding size labeling on all-size products and production descriptions. These findings highlight the importance of information transparency, careful product inspection, and complaint handling to ensure that digital promotion aligns with Islamic business principles.
