Abstract

This study aims to develop a Guided Inquiry-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) that is valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject for grade V elementary school. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Plomp development model, which includes preliminary investigation, design, construction, testing, evaluation and revision, and implementation. The research subjects consisted of 22 grade V students and one teacher at SD Negeri 99/X Sidomukti. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, with instruments including expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest questions. Data were analyzed descriptively, both qualitatively and quantitatively, using N-Gain analysis. The results showed that the Guided Inquiry-based LKPD met the criteria of being highly valid according to material, language, and media experts, and was practical based on teacher and student responses. In terms of effectiveness, there was an improvement in student learning outcomes, indicated by higher posttest scores compared to pretest scores and an N-Gain value in the effective category. Thus, the Guided Inquiry-based LKPD is declared suitable for use as a supporting teaching material for grade V elementary school IPAS learning and has the potential to improve student learning outcomes
