Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style, compensation, and work discipline on teacher performance at SMP Al Hijrah Islamic Global School. This study used associative research and a quantitative method. The population in this study was 40 teachers and the principal at SMP Al Hijrah Islamic Global School. In this study, the sampling technique used saturated sampling, which used all members of the population. Thus, a sample of 40 respondents was obtained. The results showed that leadership style did not significantly influence teacher performance. Compensation had a significant effect on teacher performance, while work discipline significantly influenced teacher performance. The adjusted R square value of 0.462 can be called the coefficient of determination, meaning that 0.462 (46.2%) of teacher performance can be obtained and explained by leadership style, compensation, and work discipline, while the remaining 53.8% is explained by variables outside the model studied.
