The study aims to determine how e-wallets, pay later, cashback promotions, and social media affect Gen Z’s financial behavior, considering financial literacy moderating role; besides, to address the knowledge gap by analyzing the relationships between these variables among Generation Z across Indonesia, which represents an urban population with high levels of fintech adoption. It used a quantitative survey approach. Moreover, the population used was Gen Z in Indonesia (aged 17–28) with a sample of 215 respondents who actively use e-wallet and paylater services in their financial activities. In addition, this study selected participants on purpose, and the information was gathered using an online form created with Google Forms.
