Abstract

Dapoer J Cake is a home-based culinary business in Ende Regency that sells birthday cakes, dry cakes, birthday pudding, and fruit salad. The marketing and sales process is still carried out through social media and direct communication, while transaction recording is still manual. This may lead to recording inaccuracies, delays in transaction report preparation, and less optimal online marketing reach. This research aims to design and build a web-based e-commerce information system to support promotion, ordering, payment confirmation, transaction management, and sales reporting at Dapoer J Cake. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. System development uses the Waterfall method, while testing uses Black Box Testing. The system was built using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and XAMPP. The system provides three access roles: Admin, Owner, and Customer.The test results show that the main features function according to the functional requirements. This system helps Dapoer J Cake manage sales and customer service in a more structured manner and supports the online marketing and sales process.
