Abstract

Digital transformation has become increasingly important in educational management as schools seek to strengthen institutional visibility, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable growth. However, the role of digital transformation and social media advertising in Islamic school management remains insufficiently understood, particularly regarding the integration of technological practices with institutional values. This study aims to examine how digital transformation and social media advertising contribute to institutional growth and to identify the managerial practices and challenges associated with their implementation. A qualitative case study design was employed, using observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and verification. The findings indicate that digital transformation integrates online registration, digital administration, social media communication, and promotional activities. Social media advertising was associated with increased new student applicants, parental engagement, alumni involvement, and institutional visibility. The findings also reveal that content quality, consistency, staff competence, infrastructure readiness, and organizational adaptation influence the effectiveness of digital implementation. The study contributes to Islamic educational management by demonstrating that digital transformation functions not merely as technological adoption but as an integrated strategy connecting institutional values, communication, and growth. Practically, schools should strengthen digital infrastructure, staff competencies, content planning, and continuous evaluation.
