Abstract

Karya ini mengangkat isu sosial yang ada melalui format program dokumenter televisi. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Penciptaan karya produksi dokumenter Middle Ground bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program dokumenter televisi yang dikembangkan melalui representasi visual untuk membangun imajinasi penonton terhadap penyampaian informasi yang akan disajikan. Sebagai sutradara, menitikberatkan pada penerapan representasi visual pada program dokumenter televisi Stereotype episode Middle Ground melalui sign atau symbol dalam visual dengan memperhatikan keselarasan teknik pengambilan gambar dan teknik penyuntingan gambar yang dinamis, agar terciptanya visualisasi gambar yang menarik tanpa menghilangkan fakta yang ada. Hasil akhir dari program ini bertujuan memberikan pesan tentang sebuah kompromi yang harus dicapai untuk memuaskan situasi antara anak dan orang tua.

Abstract

The production of radio feature “Sudut Pandang” Episode of “Mengenal Stunting” imlements the Critical Path Method to map out all the steps need to be taken in order to complete and identify activities based on the priority; and also to identify the sequence of activities to complete first or need to be completed at the same time. It begins by determining the amount of time required to critically complete the priority work path, and analyzing the relationship between program requirements and available human resources, as well as the time required to complete production.The result of the Critical Path Method implementation is network analysis schedule that has succeeded in optimizing the total cost of production by reducing or accelerating the completion time of production activities in the creation of radio feature production works.

Abstract

Creating a theater of mind for every listener is important, because radio is an auditory mass media. The process of forming a theater of mind for each person is different depending on how people imagine what they hear. The author uses sound elements in the form of voice, music and sound effects that are often played and heard in the past in forming a theater of mind for listeners on the Santai Sejenak radio variety program episode "Memories". The goal is to build a nostalgic feeling for the listeners. The response of listeners who then sent stories about their memories during the event was a form of success in building this nostalgia. This was done by combining several existing elements. Among them are music, words and sound effects. When listeners can feel nostalgic, it means that the director's task in forming a theater of mind has been successful. One way to prove it is that there is a response from the listeners who send the story.

Abstract

The production of this television music program emphasizes the application of visual composition to create an optimal appeal. The process of creating works is carried out through three stages of production, namely pre-production, production, and post-production. In its application, the author uses various elements of image composition, such as headroom, look room, rule of thirds, and camera angle. The application of these elements aims to create visual balance and produce an attractive appearance for the audience. The application of composition principles in the Production of the Television Music Program "Weska" is able to create visual appeal and improve the quality of visuals and viewing experiences, both in the context of musical performances and direct interaction between musicians and audiences.

Abstract

One of the success factors of a television program is program promotion. For this reason, a producer has a role to determine the right promotional strategy. The aim of this study is to create a promotional strategy for documentary programs via social media Instagram to attract attention and to provide information about the program being created to the wider public. The creation method used to create promotional content uses the Canva and Adobe Premiere applications which are used to edit video clips and make them into trailers as part of the program's promotional content. The promotional technique used is sharing content about the program through feeds, reels and Instagram stories. Based on the results of the insight review of the Instagram account used as promotional media, it was found that the total number of visits to all uploaded content was 449 visits in one week. The promotion strategy via Instagram social media is successful and it is used appropriately by sharing content in which the features provided by the Instagram can attract the public's attention.
