Background: Health workers play a crucial role in raising public health awareness. Their ability to provide education is crucial. Health workers face challenges in carrying out their duties due to a lack of knowledge in providing health education. This problem arises from their lack of training in how to provide health education. The ability of health workers to provide education can improve public knowledge about handling health problems and also impact their monthly performance in providing health education. Based on this background, the author felt the need to conduct effective communication training for health workers in providing health education. Purpose: To determine the effect of effective communication training on health workers' knowledge. Method: This quantitative study used a pre-experimental approach, with a single-group pretest–posttest design. This design was used to determine changes in the dependent variable after the intervention by comparing pre- and post-treatment measurement results. Participants received effective communication training designed to improve health workers' ability to convey health information to the public clearly, accurately, and easily understood. Data were collected from all 28 female cadres from the integrated health post actively carrying out their duties within the M. Ramdan Community Health Center. The sampling technique used was a paired t-test, in which all healthcare workers who met the study criteria were included as participants. Results: The paired t-test showed a Sig. (1-tailed) value of 0.000 <α (α = 0.05). Based on the test criteria, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. In other words, there was a difference between the pre-test and post-test results, thus concluding that the treatment was effective. Conclusion: Overall, effective communication training had a significant impact on improving the knowledge of healthcare workers' educational techniques. Recommendation: Healthcare institutions should maximize the use of trained healthcare workers and conduct monitoring and evaluation.
