Abstract

Employee productivity is one of the most important aspects a company must consider, as it directly impacts the organization's ability to achieve its goals. While employee skills are crucial for productivity, the work environment and work discipline also play significant roles. This study aims to examine how employee productivity at PT Talenta Central Niaga Sidoarjo is influenced—both individually and jointly—by the work environment and work discipline. The study employs a quantitative approach and an associative research design. A census method (also known as saturation sampling) was used to select all 50 employees as the study group. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale, and analysis was performed using SPSS software (version 25). The study employed multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, tests of classical regression assumptions, assessments of validity and reliability, and the determination of the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that work discipline exerts a positive and substantial influence on work performance, evidenced by a regression coefficient of 0.661, a t-value of 6.106, and a significance value of 0.000. The workplace also demonstrated a favorable and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.246, a t-value of 3.306, and a significance value of 0.002. Collectively, the work environment and work discipline have a significant impact on productivity, as confirmed by an F-value of 182.721 and a significance value of 0.000. An R-squared value of 0.886 indicates that these factors explain 88.6% of the variation in labor productivity.
