Abstract

 In the digital era, the development of e-commerce-based applications has become crucial for providing efficient and fast online shopping services. This research aims to explain the implementation of the Golang programming language in backend development for the Workit e-commerce website, an online tools sales platform developed by Jobhun. The backend is developed using Golang, which was chosen for its speed and capability in handling large-scale systems. The system is equipped with MySQL Workbench database for data storage and uses Docker Compose to facilitate containerization management. API testing is conducted periodically using Postman to ensure each endpoint functions according to requirements.
