Abstract

The web-based help desk system was developed using the CodeIgniter framework at Bhayangkara Pusdik Brimob Watukosek Hospital to improve technical maintenance efficiency. This system aims to provide a centralized platform that facilitates quick and structured reporting, monitoring, and resolution of technical issues. Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the development process involved requirement analysis, prototyping, development, testing, implementation, and evaluation. The system includes ticket management, a knowledge management center, and automated notifications to enhance the IT team’s responsiveness to technical issues. As a result, this system has successfully improved IT team efficiency and supported better hospital operations through transparent and well-documented problem resolution.
