Abstract

RT 04 in the Sawah Lebar Baru neighborhood, Bengkulu City, is located in a low-lying area and is frequently flooded during heavy rains. A lack of public awareness about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness also affects environmental quality. The goal of the “Clean Environment, Healthy Community” Campaign is to increase public awareness and participation through a participatory approach. The activities were carried out through observation, outreach, community service, and evaluation. The results show that community awareness has increased, environmental cleanliness has improved, and drainage channels are flowing more freely. In addition, this program fosters a culture of community cooperation and promotes a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.
