Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of muhadhoroh activities, analyze their role in developing students' public speaking skills, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors at MTs Negeri 2 Karawang. The study employed a qualitative approach with field research. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, supervising teachers, and students participating in the muhadhoroh activities. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, comprising data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through triangulation of sources and methods. The results indicate that muhadhoroh activities are carried out routinely and in a structured manner, encompassing planning, implementation, and evaluation. These activities play a significant role in improving students' public speaking skills, including self-confidence, verbal communication skills, mastery of material, intonation, articulation, and courage to speak in public. Furthermore, muhadhoroh activities contribute to the development of students' religious character, discipline, responsibility, and leadership. Supporting factors include teacher support, a religious madrasa environment, student enthusiasm, and ongoing evaluation. While inhibiting factors include lack of self-confidence, limited mastery of the material, and limited time for implementation.
