Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, risk perception, social influence, technological advancement, and capital on student investment interest in the capital market. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires. The population in this study consists of students from the Accounting Education study program at Universitas Negeri Semarang class of 2022, with a sample of 167 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data processing and analysis in this study were conducted using SPSS version 27. The results show that financial literacy, risk perception, social influence, technological advancement, and capital have a positive and significant effect on student investment interest, both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that student investment interest is influenced by knowledge, risk perception, social environment, technological accessibility, and capital affordability. Therefore, efforts to increase student investment interest must be supported through financial education, risk awareness, social support, and the provision of accessible and affordable investment facilities.
