Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of technology-based learning on student engagement and achievement in the digital era. The development of information and communication technology has changed the way of learning and teaching, so that universities are required to adopt new approaches that are more in line with the needs of students in the digital era. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey design to collect data from 200 students involved in the technology-based learning process in various study programs. The instruments used include a questionnaire to measure the level of student engagement and analysis of academic results to assess their achievements. The results of the study indicate that technology-based learning significantly increases student engagement, both in terms of active participation in class and interaction with fellow students and lecturers. In addition, the use of technology in learning also contributes positively to improving student academic achievement. These findings indicate that technology integration in higher education can be an effective strategy to encourage deeper engagement and better achievement among students. This study recommends a broader and more strategic implementation of technology-based learning to improve the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in learning on the understanding of material by young students. In today's digital era, AI is increasingly being adopted in educational environments, with the potential to personalize learning, increase student engagement, and accelerate the process of understanding material. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. A total of 120 students from various study programs at a university in Indonesia became research respondents, who were divided into two groups: a group that used an AI-based learning platform and a group that used conventional learning methods. Data collection was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the level of understanding of the material, as well as surveys to evaluate the learning experience. The results of the study showed that the group of students who used AI technology in learning had a more significant increase in understanding the material compared to the control group. In addition, students who used AI reported a more interactive and motivating learning experience. However, this study also found challenges, such as excessive dependence on technology and disparities in access to adequate technological devices. Based on these findings, the study recommends the integration of AI into the education curriculum in a balanced manner, considering technical and pedagogical factors to maximize the potential of AI-based learning.

Abstract

. Pharmacogenomics, the science that combines genetics with pharmacology, plays a vital role in determining the optimal dosage of drugs for patients, especially those with chronic diseases. In Indonesia, the use of pharmacogenomic approaches is still limited even though the genetically diverse population requires more personalized dosage adjustments. This study aims to analyze the effect of genetic variation on drug response in patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease, in Indonesia. By collecting and analyzing genetic data and patient clinical data, this study will identify genetic biomarkers associated with drug metabolism and therapeutic effectiveness. The results of this study are expected to provide guidance for more accurate and personalized drug dosage determination, which will ultimately improve therapeutic outcomes and reduce the risk of side effects. This study is also expected to encourage wider adoption of pharmacogenomic approaches in clinical practice in Indonesia, as part of the effort towards more personalized and effective medicine.

Abstract

Gum health and caries prevention are important aspects in maintaining overall oral health. Flossing technique or the use of dental floss is known as one of the effective methods for cleaning areas between teeth that are not reached by a toothbrush. This study aims to analyze the effect of flossing technique on gum health and caries prevention. This study used an experimental method involving 100 respondents who were divided into two groups, namely the group that routinely flossed and the control group that only relied on a toothbrush. Data were collected through gum health examinations using the gingival index and caries detection through clinical examinations for 3 months. The results showed that the group that routinely flossed experienced a significant decrease in the level of gum inflammation compared to the control group. In addition, the flossing technique was also proven effective in reducing plaque formation between teeth, which is the main factor causing caries. In conclusion, the flossing technique has a positive effect on gum health and can play an important role in caries prevention. Therefore, the use of flossing is recommended as part of an oral hygiene routine to support optimal dental and gum health.
