Abstract

Activities suitable for planting with hydroponic systems in the midst of covid 19 pendemi are in great demand by utilizing limited land. One of the elements in suitable planting activities is water, because 70 percent of the molecules in plants are water. Water serves as the raw material of plants in the process of photosynthesis and can also keep plant moisture from withering. Currently the method of watering plants is still done manually by checking the condition of the soil, if the soil condition is dry then the new water pump is turned on for watering. But the method is considered less effective because it requires farmers to do regular checks and should not forget so that the soil does not dry so that the plants do not wither. To answer these problems in this study want to provide certainty how the plant gets enough water. One of the efforts that can be done is to make an automatic watering tool that without having to take time so as to give an efficient impact. The tool is made using Arduino Mega 2560 Components that serve as controllers in the watering system with the help of smartphones for remote control.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan keterampilan pembuatan minuman herbal terbuat dari jahe merah dan kunyit dan meningkatkan pendapatan Pondok Pesantren Riyadhul Huda di Desa Babakan Ciangsana Kecamatan Gunung Putri Bogor. Dengan berlatih membiasakan diri mengkonsumsi minuman herbal maka masyarakat Pondok dapat memiliki ketahanan terhadap serangan COVID-19 sehingga pembelajaran dapat berlangsung lebih aman. Dengan demikian, dilakukan pembuatan teknologi yang diterapkan dalam pembuatan minuman jahe merah dan kunyit adalah ekstraksi dengan metode infundasi. Infundasi merupakan penyarian simplisia dalam air pada suhu 90ºC selama 15 menit. Minuman herbal dibuat dalam bentuk tunggal atau racikan dengan bahan  baku yang masih berbentuk utuh, rajangan, serbuk, maupun ekstrak (sari). Secara keseluruhan kuesioner yang diisi oleh responden adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengetahuan responden terhadap materi yang akan diberikan.Dari hasil analisis terhadap data kuesioner responden, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta pelatihan setelah mendapatkan pemaparan materi tentang pengolahan jahe merah dan kunyit sebagai anti oksidan pada minuman herbal. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah produk berupa minuman herbal untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh, dan pemahaman pemanfaatan tanaman herbal berkhasiat serta meningkatkan motivasi para peserta untuk mengembangkan secara mandiri alternatif minuman herbal sesuai dengan kebutuhan.

Abstract

Floods occur due to rainfall that is high enough so that the water level rises above normal limits and overflows into residential areas. Floods can occur regardless of time, so there is a need to increase public awareness of floods. In the environment around the Krisnadwipayana University, namely, Jaticempaka Village, Bekasi, which is one of the public service partners, floods often occur due to the overflow of the Sunter River. Based on surveys and monitoring, the lack of public awareness of Jaticempaka Village, Bekasi, regarding flood disasters due to the lack of a system or device that can detect the high water level in the Sunter River, which causes flooding. Therefore, lecturers and students of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Krisnadwipayana University were inspired to participate with carrying out public service, namely by making and installing a flood detection device that can detect water level levels at the Sunter River using an Atmega 8535 microcontroller and an ESP8266 MCU node. It is hoped that by installing the flood detection device, the public of Jaticempaka Village, Bekasi, can obtain information about the water level of the Sunter River, so that can increase public awareness of flood disasters.

Abstract

Lampu lalu lintas merupakan alat yang memberikan isyarat atau mengatur arus lalu lintas di persimpangan jalan, perlintasan pejalan kaki, dan tempat lainnya. Fungsinya adalah untuk mengatur waktu berjalan dan berhenti kendaraan secara bergantian dari berbagai arah. Dengan semakin berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, jumlah kendaraan di jalan semakin meningkat, yang menyebabkan penumpukan lalu lintas terutama di persimpangan empat. Saat ini, pengaturan lampu lalu lintas biasanya tetap berlaku sepanjang hari, padahal jumlah lalu lintas berbeda pada setiap waktu tertentu. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sistem yang mampu mengendalikan durasi waktu nyala lampu lalu lintas secara dinamis. Dalam penelitian ini, diusulkan penerapan sistem traffic light berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dapat mengatur lalu lintas secara otomatis dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266. Selain itu, pengaturan manual juga dapat dilakukan melalui aplikasi smartphone bernama BLNYK. Dengan demikian, sistem ini memungkinkan kontrol waktu yang sesuai dengan jarak antrean kendaraan yang menggunakan teknologi IoT dan aplikasi smartphone

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan suatu penawarkan atau solusi untuk mengamankan instalasi rumah hunian yang kita tempati atau perkantoran dari bahayanya hubungan singkat, beban berlebih dan sengatan listrik. Pada pendahuluan dijelaskan latar belakang sangat pentingnya penggunaan sistem proteksi pada instalasi listrik dan beberapa definisi yang berkaitan dengan sengatan listrik dan Residual current circuit breaker with integral overload protection (RCBO). Maka dari itu untuk bagian metode penelitian, spesifikasi Residual current circuit breaker with integral overload protection (RCBO) yang digunakan ditampilkan dan alur penelitian juga ditampilkan. Pada pembahasan dan hasil diketahui bahwa RCBO akan trif jika terjadi beban lebih, korsleting, arus bocor, dan sengatan listrik akibat kontak langsung dengan bagian aktif. Untuk arus nominal (in) dari RCBO, dipilih rcbo dengan nilai 6 ampere dan sensitivitas arusnya (i∆n = 30 ma) sesuai dengan Residual current circuit breaker with integral overload protection (RCBO) yang ada di pasaran. Residual current circuit breaker with integral overload protection (RCBO) yang digunakan yaitu SCHNEIDER 1 Phasa 6 Amper digunakan untuk mengamankan instalasi rumah tinggal baik dari beban lebih (overload protection), hubungan singkat (short circuit protection), dan terutama pengaman terhadap kejut listrik (electric shock). Beban lebih melebihi dari 900 Watt maka Residual current circuit breaker with integral overload protection (RCBO) akan off pengujian dengan daya beban 1065 Watt Residual current circuit breaker with integral overload protection (RCBO) trif atau off. Abstract

Abstrak - Kebakaran dapat dianggap sebagai satu diantara berbagai jenis musibah karena sifatnya yang membahayakan lingkungan dan masyarakat serta sulit dikendalikan. Kebakaran merupakan suatu insiden yang dapat membahayakan dan mengganggu kelangsungan hidup manusia, dan dapat terjadi di berbagai tempat seperti gedung, perumahan, dan hutan. Pada saat ini, orang – orang keluar bekerja dari pagi hingga sore hari meninggalkan rumah atau tempat tinggal cukup lama. Sehingga musibah seperti kebakaran kadang tak bisa diatasi saat meninggalkan rumah. Meskipun demikian, kebakaran dapat dihindari dengan berbagai cara. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sistem yang mampu mendeteksi dan melakukan proteksi dini jika terjadi kebakaran. Sistem yang digunakan tersebut terdiri dari sensor api, asap dan suhu yang diintegrasikan dengan Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan ESP32. Dimana sensor api dapat mendeteksi api hingga jarak 160 cm pada sudut 0⁰ dan saat sudut 90⁰ hanya pada jarak 12 cm. Sehingga semakin besar sudut antara detektor sensor api dengan sumber api, maka pembacaan sensor menjadi berkurang. Sensor asap mendeteksi asap saat kadar asap mencapai 402 PPM serta sensor suhu yang memberikan notifikasi ke android saat mendeteksi suhu melebihi 41.8 ⁰C. Sensor suhu juga memiliki tingkat pembacaan yang sangat akurat karena dapat melakukan update yang lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan alat ukur suhu HTC-1. Sehingga saat terdeteksi adanya kebakaran, dapat langsung melakukan pencegahan dengan adanya notifikasi ke aplikasi android, alarm berupa buzzer dan memberikan proteksi menggunakan relay secara cepat dan efektif serta melakukan kontrol jendela menggunakan motor servo secara IoT

Abstract

Lighting in a building, especially in the lecture building, is very necessary for lighting with good quality. This study aims to determine the quality of lighting in the lecture room of Building G, Faculty of Engineering, Krisnadwipayana University using the dialux application to simulate it. The relationship between space and light, space will always surround human existence, in space, visual form, quality of light, dimensions and scale are determined by the boundaries that have been determined by the elements of form. This study performs calculations using the lamp equation, measurements using a luxmeter and visualization using Dialux evo 9.2. The results of the calculation with the equation of the lamps installed are the lighting quality of class room 203 which is only 57.52 lm, class room 204 is 68.81 lm and study program office space which is only around 68.81 lm. With the results of measurements of room 203 with an average of 45.43 lux for local measurements and general lighting of 54.25 lux, for room 204 local measurements were at 48.93 lux and general lighting measurements were 63.37 lux, for the room of the Head of Study Program the local measurements were 54.25 for general exposure measurements. In the dialux analysis, the lighting levels for Room 203, Room 204, and Room for Head of Study Programs are 39.9 lux, 45.1 lux, 41.9, respectively. From all the data obtained from the analysis of the three sample rooms that represent all the rooms have not reached the Indonesian national standard. To be able to achieve lighting results in accordance with the standard, it is necessary to increase the number of lamps or replace lamps with higher luminance value

Abstract

In the livestock sector in Indonesia, the manual method is used, namely the breeder must put the feed into the feed container. Breeders also have to check the temperature in the cage and this certainly requires a lot of effort and time for livestock management. The application of IoT in chicken farms can be implemented to help farmers monitor and provide automatic feed. Of course this will help livestock farming activities using automatic feeders and temperature controllers that can be monitored anywhere with just a smartphone. The automatic system consists of an automatic system that provides ideal air and a chicken feed system. Determination of tool specifications and manufacture that aims to find the form. Testing the sending of data on the Telegram application has been carried out 10 times. Sending data has a success percentage of 100% and an average delay of 17.40 seconds. Testing of sending data for the feeding time test on an automatic feed system was carried out 2 times. This test aims to open the valve in the dining area during breakfast and evening meals. The automatic feed system feature can be adjusted according to the needs of animal feed, with the intention that the amount of feed per day can be adjusted easily. Sending mealtime test data has a success percentage of 100%..

Abstract

Credit is an important instrument in improving the community's economy, providing wider access to capital through financial institutions. Perumda BPR Sukabumi is one of the institutions that offers credit programs to support local economic growth. However, until now, BPR Sukabumi does not have a computerized credit worthiness analysis system, causing the decision-making process for granting credit to be slow and at risk of errors, which can have an impact on company performance and customer satisfaction. This research aims to design and implement a decision support application for credit worthiness analysis using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method which is expected to help credit analysts in assessing and recommending the feasibility of granting credit. The AHP method was chosen because of its ability to manage various complex, interconnected criteria in the credit worthiness assessment process, including customer profile, credit history, financial stability and proposed collateral. In this system, the weight of each criterion is analyzed and ranked for more objective and accurate final results. The result of this research is a computer-based application that simplifies the credit worthiness analysis process at BPR Cibitung. With this application, credit analysts can more quickly and accurately assess prospective customers, so that credit decisions can be made more efficiently. This AHP-based application is also expected to be able to reduce the risk of bad credit by identifying potentially high-risk customers. Thus, this application can be a useful tool for improving operational efficiency and the quality of BPR services to its customers

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of technology-based learning on student engagement and achievement in the digital era. The development of information and communication technology has changed the way of learning and teaching, so that universities are required to adopt new approaches that are more in line with the needs of students in the digital era. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey design to collect data from 200 students involved in the technology-based learning process in various study programs. The instruments used include a questionnaire to measure the level of student engagement and analysis of academic results to assess their achievements. The results of the study indicate that technology-based learning significantly increases student engagement, both in terms of active participation in class and interaction with fellow students and lecturers. In addition, the use of technology in learning also contributes positively to improving student academic achievement. These findings indicate that technology integration in higher education can be an effective strategy to encourage deeper engagement and better achievement among students. This study recommends a broader and more strategic implementation of technology-based learning to improve the quality of education in the digital era.
