Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine and explain the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at COMO Uma Canggu. Methods: This quantitative study involved 127 employees selected through random sampling. Primary data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results: Leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t = 2.170; p = 0.032), while work motivation also had a positive and significant effect (t = 5.735; p < 0.001). The reported F-test indicated a simultaneous effect of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance (F = 3.881; p = 0.014). The adjusted R² was 0.315, indicating that 31.5% of the variance in employee performance was explained by the two independent variables. Conclusion: Leadership style and work motivation were reported to have positive and significant effects on employee performance at COMO Uma Canggu.
